About Me

I’m Osvaldo Santiago, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) based in Massachusetts with over 10 years of experience supporting adults on their path toward greater clarity, healing, and self-acceptance. My work is grounded in the belief that therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, safe, and empowered, especially if you’ve felt overlooked, misunderstood, or disconnected in other parts of your life.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I bring a calm, nonjudgmental presence to the therapy room, and I meet you where you are- whether you’re navigating anxiety, cultural identity stress, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, life transitions, or past trauma. You don’t have to “have it all figured out” to begin this work.

In sessions, I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. These approaches offer structure and flexibility, helping us identify what’s getting in the way and build tools to support your growth and well-being. That said, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model, I stay adaptable and responsive to what you need most in the moment.

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, and I am deeply committed to fostering a space that is inclusive, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming. As a queer-friendly provider, I understand how important it is to feel understood without having to educate your therapist about your identity. Whether you're exploring questions of gender, sexuality, cultural identity, or self-worth, I’m here to support your process with care, curiosity, and respect.

Outside of therapy, I value the same things I support my clients in cultivating: meaningful relationships, mindfulness, resilience, and space to breathe. I believe in showing up fully, both as a clinician and as a human being, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you navigate whatever comes next.
